We depend on the generosity of our friends and neighbors who donate their gently used clothing, furniture and household items. We also gratefully accept monetary donations. Proceeds are used to help the needy in the Lake Mills, Johnson Creek, Cambridge and Deerfield areas. All donations are tax deductible, but to receive a donation slip your items must be dropped off at our donation center at 720 East Lake Street, Lake Mills.
Because we get so many great donations, we provide a list of what we currently accept and those items we cannot accept at this time. Take a look to see if your donations is needed.

To make handling your donations easier for our volunteers and staff we have implemented a few rules that we ask people follow when donating items. All clothing, shoes, bedding, linens and fabrics should be in plastic bags, not on hangers or in totes. All smaller household items and books should be in closed cardboard boxes or with lids that are not open and please no plastic totes/tubs. Please remove all rummage sale stickers before bagging or boxing anything. This will make the initial intake procedure go much smoother. When our volunteers have to remove rummage sale stickers it slows down our sorting process drastically.
The large plastic totes that many people “donate” containing clothes or household items are often cracked and very worn by the time the donation makes it to us and it costs us money to have them picked up by our recycler. Unless they are in very good condition with lids, we can’t usually sell them, so we are asking they not be used as boxes. If you are unsure whether an item is acceptable, please feel free to call us at (920) 648-2800. Although we try to be good stewards of the earth and recycle as much as we can, our disposal costs continue to rise every year and we find that we must be more vigilant as to what we can accept.
Thank you for your continued support of our organization’s mission to assist and minister to our neighbors in need. Monday through Friday: 8:00 a. – 5:00 p. Saturday: 9:00 a.
